Hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD), found in cannabis, is a natural remedy used to ease chronic pain, anxiety, mental health, and neurological disorders2.
Cannabis-based medicines can also offer treatment for controlling chronic pain and reducing nausea from chemotherapy1. Hemp foods offer a wide range of health benefits due to their Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids3.
In Europe, around 512 million people are potential consumers of CBD4. In Canada, 17% of the population (over 16 years) have used cannabis in the past 30 days5, i.e., 5.4 million people6,7, and in the U.S., 64 million people have used CBD in the last 2 years11.

The Cannabis segment (representing 64% of the revenue8;p3) offers adult-use, medical, and bulk sales of cannabis with regulated licenses13. The Hemp segment (representing 36% of the revenue8;p3) offers hemp seed, hemp foods, and broad-spectrum hemp extract containing CBD13, through its subsidiary Manitoba Harvest12.
